A major issue is that a person’s sole dependence on brain-specific behavior which makes his thinking limited to the mere calculation of loss and benefit in life. A person’s suffers from this when his vision of life is to mere collect the means of sensual pleasure. So his heart-specific behavior is distorted to allow him to turn to the spiritual joy and beauty. So one main issue is to achieve a balance out of the brain-specific and heart-specific behaviors so that the resultant personality may enjoy the highest level of rhythm, contentment and happiness out of the material-spiritual bliss and to further in this world and the next

Look at the vast universe around you and think about its splendid phenomena
Note down that why is the universe and what is in it—son, stars, moon, mountains etc. are no longer affected by time and place.
Find out the smallness of human life and the gigantic nature of universe, but everything remains conquered for human beings. Reflect again and again about the apparent paradoxes of human life (love and hatred, friendship and enmity, peace and violence, power and powerlessness etc.) and universe (e.g., attraction and repulsion, light and darkness, motion and rest etc.) Ask yourself why that is and what causes such paradoxes to be the source of life and regeneration?

Are you now able to find out a strong convincing ground in favor of your belief that the Lord of this universe is no one else but God the most Gracious?
Certainly, all such observations are necessary to enhance and improve the quality of heart-specific behavior. Pondering about universe and its magnificence helps to consolidate the belief that Lord of this universe is one and alone. It is with this truth that you can go through the spiritual experience in its fullness, completeness and clarity. As it improves your heart-specific behavior, it results also in achieving the balance between heart and brain to further help you develop your pondering and reasoning faculty on positive lines.
This is where your belief is raised out of being a mere blind faith.
This is how, you learn your faith by means of arguments, reason and proofs.
Go on to develop this rational behavior in different walks of everyday life.
This reasoning-based relationship with Allah becomes a shield in protecting you from the attractions, charms and short-term benefits of the worldly life.
This helps you to be the part of an environment based on an ever-increasing love and trust on God. Does this further make you view Noor or light of God and thus enriching your heart, brain and mind.
